Do

insanity is to do the same thing over and over and expect a different

Metabolic training is a great way to shake things up and give you a full
body workout, burn a ton of calories, and get your metabolism going.
This is THE most effective workout for burning stubborn fat! There is
absolutely no way to describe this workout without inviting you to try
it.

Do

you must first develop a solid foundation. This ensures that anything
built on top of that foundation will be stable and long-lasting. In this
sense, your body is like a house- you must build a good foundation of
fitness before you can think of designing an effective program to help
you reach your goals. Foundations will teach you the basic movements
that you will need to master before you can move into our Afterburn
circuits. It is essential that you learn these movements correctly so
that you can advance to more challenging programming in the future.

XFIT:
X-Fit
combines functional movements, weightlifting and high intensity
cardiovascular exercise for the most efficient calorie burning and
strength building workout in a small group atmosphere, a max of 10
athletes per class!
Be prepared to step out of your comfort zone as a Mavericks X-Fit
Trainer guides you through a dynamic warm-up, the workout of the day and
stretching. Not only will you get an intense workout but you will be
taught techniques that you can apply to everyday life.

MAVERICKS PERSONAL TRAINING:
Personal Training can be so many different things depending on the clients- that's what makes it personal! You can choose to workout with your trainer as many as five times per week but most clients opt for one to three sessions per week for maximum effectives. At the very least you should visit with your trainer every six to eight weeks to make a few changes to your program to make sure your always progressing and experiencing results. Two many people stay on a program for an extended period of time and wonder why the're no longer experiencing changes to their fitness level. Programming updates are very important to insure ongoing progress. You can also choose to train for 30 minutes or 60 minutes sessions depending on your time. You also have the option to train alone, with a partner or in a small group setting. We make every attempt possible to customize a plan that is going to work within your schedule and budget and that will ensure success.
We can focus on cardio-conditioning, muscle-conditioning, flexibility, or nutrition, or a combination of all of these depending on your goals, needs, strengths, and weaknesses. You could decide you want to run, train for a triathlon, go for a walk, or even have a one on one game of basketball. We really to strive to make our clients programs as individual as possible, effective and lots of fun.

The Functional Movement Screen (FMS) is the product of an exercise philosophy known as Functional Movement Systems. This exercise philosophy and corresponding set of resources is based on sound science, years of innovation, and current research.
» How it Works - Simplifying Movement
Put simply, the FMS is a ranking and grading system that documents movement patterns that are key to normal function. By screening these patterns, the FMS readily identifies functional limitations and asymmetries. These are issues that can reduce the effects of functional training and physical conditioning and distort body awareness.
The FMS generates the Functional Movement Screen Score, which is used to target problems and track progress. This scoring system is directly linked to the most beneficial corrective exercises to restore mechanically sound movement patterns.
Exercise professionals monitor the FMS score to track progress and to identify those exercises that will be most effective to restore proper movement and build strength in each individual.
